Mission in Ivory Cost: a sector undergoing rapid change

Field transformed into a nursery of palm oil trees. The nursery extends far away and stops with high trees of something similar to a preserved tropical forest. The field is full of aligned PalmElit seedlings in Ivory Cost. The seeldings are aligned in triangles to limit the competition.

For two weeks, our technical sales representative Khadija traveled to Ivory Cost to meet with stakeholders in the palm oil industry and observe the profound changes taking place in the sector.
Driven by a national desire to renew and modernize plantations, the Ivorian palm oil industry is entering a new phase.

Key takeaways:

Working alongside long-standing stakeholders
PalmElit supports industry leaders in strategic discussions, reaffirming the added value and performances of its plant material

Support for agripreneur
PalmElit also supports a new generation of agricultural investors: agripreneurs committed to sustainable and efficient cash crop farming, particularly to secure their future—including preparing for retirement.

Optimized logistics

The validation of new, more agile logistics channels ensures optimal seed freshness and increased responsiveness to market needs, thereby strengthening our supply chain.

Our ambition
To support the agricultural transition in Ivory Cost by offering:
Total transparency on the origin of seeds
Sustainable profitability for all farmers

A big thank you to our local partners PALMCI and Désiré Porquet for their warm welcome and fruitful discussions.
