Seed Evidence Day in Sierra Leone
On December 3, 2025, PalmElit organized a Seed Evidence Day in Pujehun, at the Socfin Agricultural Company (SAC) plantation.
This event brought together participants from Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Ghana, with a common goal: to share field evidence and concrete practices to sustainably improve palm oil plantation performance.
The program included discussions on:
• Irrigated palm trials
• Fertilization trials
• Assisted manual pollination
• Good farming practices
The day provided an opportunity to inform producers, answer their questions, and, above all, demonstrate that PalmElit equipment achieves excellent yields in terms of fruit and oil in this context. The SAC team hosted the event in a remarkable manner and shared some very interesting figures.
